Traffic jam in the sky
Windy day, so coincidence right. Of all days, today so windy. NTUC could have ‘calculated’ the auspicious day.
Not only crowded with kites, but also DSLRs! Everywhere… Quite hard to take photos or perhaps my skills not pro yet. HA!
did her first attack on a kid. Actually, she’s quite an attention seeker. As in many kids will love to get close to her. But she HATE it. Might be kids have a very high energy when they approach animals. Animals cannot rationalize like humans. When kids run past or charge at her, she does not know if it was an attack. So I was squatting down beside her, holding her close to me. Many kids gathered but I told them how to approach Baobao, letting Baobao smell their hands first before touching her. Most of the kids followed the instructions and she was doing fine.
Then came this toddler who was screaming in high pitch voice and running towards her. Baobao did not even stand up or ran to the toddler. Before I was able to react, the toddler’s hand was already in front of Baobao’s mouth. She returned a “gentle” bite. Those light red marks you get when you scratch your skin slightly hard or in some cat fights.
The toddler cried in high pitch voice. The thing is, the parents weren’t even looking at the toddler. But still, apologized to the parents. Luckily, the parents were relaxed and let the matter rest. Phew…
Though I felt that most of the precautions were taken care and it was the toddler who came charging at us, since Baobao gave him a present, both are at fault la.
Conclusion: Toddler’s phobia of dogs starts today.
